Posted by arctic on Mar-08-2004 05:24:

Err, hasn't it always been like that?

Posted by malek on Mar-08-2004 05:33:

actually, it showed maybe once or twice EVER (for the past 3 years)...

those icons don't always show up

Posted by beema on Mar-08-2004 05:37:

It shows up for me every now and then...I think maybe when I clear my cache or something, but then it dissapears after a day or so. Same thing happens with any other sites that have those icons. They never stick around.

It always shows up for me. Then again, I don't use IE, so that probably explains it.

Are you talking about the guy at the top of the page or the icon in the address? Because I don't think the icon shows up in browsers other than IE or I could be mistaken.

Posted by TwoPlow on Mar-08-2004 05:42:

Yeah, with IE it was hit or miss, with Mozilla it's there until I clear my cookies/cache.

The icon of course. If the guy isn't showing up, then you've got serious problems, as a browser that can't display images has serious issues.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox, and the icon always shows up, without fail. I'll take a screen shot if you like.

Oh ok, don't mind me. Thought you were talking about the guy because I've never seen the icon, lol.

I have IE. In my favorite places the icon for TA is what whiskers posted. But in my IE address bar is the standard explorer icon. Funny thing is, a week ago the icon for TA in my fav places was the standard IE icon.

Waaay too much drama over an icon.

Just dump IE for Mozilla Firefox.

Problem solved.

Ho hum. Possibly, it's worth a try I suppose.

More importantly, why the hell are you using Windows 95?

Pitiful, eh? This computer I'm on is fucked and not worth upgrading. Eventually will buy a new one.
