A few words from Elevation about Clear Blue and Clear blue sky
To all TA's
to start out with a bang.... lol
If anyone has heard "clear blue sky" ... it should be completely ignored and forgotten... This rough "original" is a piece of complete junk...mix levels and frequencys are absolutely everywhere...and i am ashamed of it..and am still wondering who got a hold of THIS one and thought it was cool to
share...
well anyways...there have been a number of things said by a number of people, commenting on how "clear blue sky" is better than Clear Blue which is certainly not the case...and also how Markus' style and sound is getting old and boring? well i appreciate the compliment but i think people(some) need to open their ears and really take a clsoe look at which is the better one...Its kind of a childish thing to say, i know but i dont care because it has brought alot of negativity to "Markus Schulz Presents Elevation - Clear Blue" which has served as a major Career booster for Markus and a wonderful breakthrough for myself... I take it personally, believe it or not, when i see people criticizing Markus' work on this track and the major part that he plays behind this track...(i.e. takeing credit and all that other BS)...im gonna break it to ya now........ but without the wholehearted and hard work of Markus Schulz on the production etc.. of this track, I would be absolutely nowhere, and this tune would be absolutely nowhere probably still sitting on my harddrive.
...and on the note of Markus' sound getting boring??
Markus Schulz is helping shape a new sound and bring back what was lost in EDM...and I together with him and a few other producers and djs are also trying to help "bring back what was lost'.. I realize that there are going to be those who support what we are doing and those that are going to go against what we are doing...
but anyways...dont want to come across as a little bitch or anything...but im not going to hold back what is on my mind...
so it would be appreciated if "clear blue sky " be ignored...and have a lot more respect for Markus' part in this...
see you around guys
- Elevation

please be our savior! lol...... love ur track.
*edit*
yeh... i really dont see any bashing at all. it seems many people love markus's sound (i'm on of them). perhaps a bit of self-promotion goin on here?
i don't really understand. i'm on the boards a lot and haven't really seen too much bashing of markus and this tune inparticular. where is this all coming from?
i would say the majority of the boards are really starting to like what markus has been doing so once again i don't see where this is coming from?
i dont see where its comin from either.. i personally love what Markus Schulz is doin.. amazin productions and bootlegs left and right.. great DJ.. i havent seen to much negetivity against him either..
Humz I like markus mixes lately and clear blue still is a great tune
can't wait for his mix album this month!!!
dont see where its comming from either. maybe this thread is just a bit of shameless self promotion? anyway i prefer clear blue sky, i couldnt give a crap waht hte levels are like etc, i'd rather have raw talent than technical ability. any decent sound engineer can sort out your levels for you.
Well said Elevation
It's about time the truth was spoken in reguards to this track, I have seen some negative threads floating about reguarding markus' influence upon this track, and I hope you've now put a stop to this.
Oh and btw Elevation, loving Largo
Keep up the good work
i've never noticed people bashing the track clear blue and markus schulz, but rather being quite positive about it. Keep up the good work and i hope you can do good things for the scene. We'll be watching you.

mebe this is wut happens when you put a 16 year old and fame together?
Yeah, this kinda totally came outta nowhere...I heard nothing but good things about this track and Schulz's style(even though I'm not a fan of it because of the reasons you listed) and further more, your comment about bringing back what is lost is kinda out there too...
Yea I dunno what this is all about, bringing back what was lost? Uhmm, pretty sure...no.
This style perhaps is bringing something new to the table, but definitely not bringing anything back.
I'm not sure what brought this about either. But it's clear that something pissed Mike off enough to make this thread, so let's just respect his words. I can garuntee you that this is not some attempt to stir up a buzz on Clear Blue. Mike has no reason to do something that rediculous. "Clear Blue Sky" is my personal favorite, but I've never made a remark disparaging Clear Blue or Markus. Maybe Mike just wanted to use TA (since it is a widely viewed forum in the trance community) to send a message to some people who've been bothering him, even if they haven't been doing it on TA per se.
Word.. You should praise feedback, and I totally love "Clear Blue" and so do many others. If other ppl are slating urself & markus.. BIG DEAL, Criticism is life.
i fail to see where he is brining back the old sound apart from trying to restage the annoyance which was the prog outburst of 2001

Markus Schulz is an absolute guru of electronic music. Ignore the moron newbies trying to downplay his skills, because they don't know what they're talking about.
That set he spun on Saturday on ID&T was absolutely badass, by the way.
Clear Blue is a cool track... I would love it if elevation's mix of "beautiful things" could get released though! Sing me up for the promo list.

dont know what else to say exept 1) I was in no way trying to promote myself...or recreate buzz on this track....2) it was somthing that was on my mind..and i read somthing this weekend that set it off and bothered the person that sent it to me...
I dont know how to explain the "bring back waht was lost" any more than i said it...but Its very apparent now and hard to ignore ..because..lots of stuff is just sounding the same now ...and I think it would be kind of nice to "bring back" the excitement to tracks ...and get away from the same old boring generic predictable stuff thats out there..
If people like my stuff..GREAT
If people dont like my stuff.. then thats their personal opinion..
im not going to try to make people like my stuff...or make music that i think others will like... i just simply make what i like....
..im probably digging my self in to a bigger hole, but i dont really care
but i will say that i'm not the best at communicating my ideas over the internet so feel free to call me an idiot, retarded, absolutely messed up? doesnt bother me.. so if u need somthing clarified....PM me...dont just assume different things such as implying that i wanted to recreate buzz on this track...
BTW what kind of remark was that about mixing a 16 yr old and fame?? plz explain that to me...
HOLY SHIT A POOR EXCUSE TO CREATE BUZZ::::::
beside the coldharbour mix...there is going to be an absolutely MASSSSSIVE REMIX from someone who is abolutely one of my FAVORITE producers ((((hint hint ..pick or choose from my favorites in my profile ))
