Does your Life depend on Trance & The Net ?

I realised today that my life is built on trance and the internet, of course theres work but thats just 7 days wasted workin in an office, i see ma gf 3 times a week and i always have trance on when im with her and she actually likes Andain and other female vocal tracks ( well i have played them 30,000 times to her LOL. I was like away from my computer 10 mins ago and i missed it i hadda get back to winamp and choose from my 200 hour play list of pure heaven besides drinkin and checkin my bank balance, thats my life. This has to be an Illness. Is there a cure ?

LOL.

amm.. kinda depends on the net a little.. i can go without trance though..

alhtough every time i'm at home surfin i have trance playin..

wouldn't say it depends on either of them.. but if the net were to suddenly disappear i'd be really sad

but it's here to stay so

I think trance should replace oxygen as the thing we need to breathe to stay alive.

King

i need the net but i dont need trance, i will live happily on a diet of metal and drum n bass.

I highly value trance in my life and could care less about the net--but I mostly get trance off the net, so I guess I need both.

Heavily!!!

Posted by Moongoose on Mar-08-2004 22:36:

I could do without trance, but not without the net. There are some days that i actualy dont listen to a single trance track ( ) bt i just have to be online if im away from home i can check most messageboards (even TA however its loading painfuly slow :whip, my email and irc vith my mobile phone.

...i need to find a girl and stay with her for more than 2 weeks so makes me break this bad habbit...but with my luck i always find one just like me...addicted to music, net and an occasional party

Posted by DjSimonB on Mar-08-2004 22:38:

I'd probably rather go without the net than without trance.

The net - the main things I use it are for talking to friends (either real or online friends), and finding out about new music, from sites like this one. For the friends thing... well, the real friends I see most days anyway, and the few people I'm close to online, I've got other ways of contacting them. And music - well, I'd just have to go without discussing new releases.

Trance - I listen to it every day. If i feel down, or weird, then I'll put on some records and forget my troubles. I'd still be able to get trance, it would just be a case of going to record shops and reading magazines - the info wouldn't be as readily avaliable as it is online, but (particularly if I had enough money to buy most of the tunes I want) then I'd still get my trance.

well if my life wouldnt depend on trance (better eletronica in generell) i wouldnt be on trance addict.

i wouldn travel 1200km to get to a party because of the msuic only, i wouldnt meet tas from uk, us, nl, etc.

i would change so much things if my lifestyle were not all about eletronic dancemusic, however i dont need changes... i luv everything how it is!

tool.

Rozzer

I'm going to live 5 months and 19 days longer than you.

On the flipside, I find that most of my day is based around music one way or another. It's not hard to dedicate yourself to this scene, regardless of your taste in genre. We need more people that are this devoted, y'know?

Unless of course, you're supposed to be doing something else with your life...

Posted by BloodfIower on Mar-08-2004 22:45:

btw: yes i am also addicted to the net, but i dont care anymore, i rather spend my freetime to get the information "I" want rather then spending it on tv to get the infos that "someone" want me to have...

Posted by {b.s.e.} on Mar-08-2004 22:46:

I'm not addicted to the net, I just don't have anything better to do right now.

Posted by Psionic on Mar-08-2004 22:47:

Not just trance, but music in general

Your computer will soon explode!

Posted by Streakfury on Mar-08-2004 23:19:

I thought I was addicted to the net, but when I was at uni last year there were three month periods where I had no net at all (well, only for work really) and it didn't bother me that much. I cant do without trance though, I go nuts if I have a day out and haven't listened to any for about 6 hours!!

Posted by Genesis Evolved on Mar-08-2004 23:20:

I get nervous if I can't check emails at least once a day

Could live without trance, though. Luckily there are other types of music that I enjoy.

Goddamn bloody SHIT. Oh, no you didn't.....

As for staying on topic, my answer is yes. I get my music online from.....wherever, becuz it's convenient, and becuz I refuse to pay $20 for CDs.

Posted by BadBadNeil on Mar-09-2004 02:00:

I need to net to escape boredom at work. Yeah yeah i should be working but why work when you can get paid to surf the net all day.

I also need it because my life revolves around it (im a web/multimedia designer).

Trance(and house, breaks etc) well yeah need that too because its all i listen to on the 50 minute commute to work every day. I rarely listen to music at home though.
