what is this a cover of? i heard what i'm guessing is the original at work the other day... some shakey male vocal and some guy snapping his fingers in the background(unless that was my gay boss being... well gay )

I know it's a cover...well it at least uses the guitar part from this older soft rock song. I know cuz they play that kind of stuff where I work and one day I'm like "jeez, this song has a guitar lick that sounds just like 'on the beach'"...LOL, I unfortunetly don't know the name of the song though

EDIT: I was thinking, it could just be the original mix...because the only mix I remember ever hearing is the CRW remix.
