Well since Princess started an appreciation thread for Z103 I figured I'd start an appreciation thread for 100.7FM eh?

Isn't it the best station specially on THursday night between 2 and 4am??

i LOVE the greeks though. they got some decent tracks though... they usually don't have an understanding of the concept that states their show is strictly over at midnight on the dot.

agreed! nothing better to get u out of bed.. not even ur mother's jerbarish in the morning. Nothing beat an announcer yelling at u in a forign language.

i do have some old phones... just don't know how to get those metals. it's not like i have a piece of zinc sitting there. and i would rather eat mashed potatos than starve to death. Mommy taught me not to play with my food

haha thats wat i spin at indian gigs, bhangra and hindi music. it used to be good, but nowadays it suks.

i realize you have contests and tickets to give away and people who want to do "shout outs" but sometimes i find all that stuff over-shadowing the music...sometimes less is more...maybe the "banter" can take place before and after a commercial rather than in the middle of a good track...i do very much enjoy the show but if i could change one thing that would be it....

I know that some shows I find myself talking way too much and I'm really trying to control how much talking there is on the show all together. I try to get all the talking done and over with in the first hour leaving the second hour more music driven. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Latelly I've also been limiting the talking to TOP of the Hour, 15 minutes past, right before and after commercials, 45 past and near, the top again.

You're not the first one who's brought this to my attention but I do thank you for you opinion, the show is only good when the listeners are there to enjoy it. Keep the ideas, suggestion and criticism coming.
