Vestax 175 vs 275

Well I'm looking into purchasing myself a new 3 channel mixer....
these two have about a 200 dollar difference, so I was wondering what has your experience been with them and also are they really that different(except the kill switches). Is it worth dishing out the extra 200 bucks?
Also any otherq quality 3 channel mixer i should be considering?

I have the 275 and its not bad. it has kill switches and a nice x fader. it won't fit in a coffin though because its an odd size.

I am lookin into the ecler....

But can anyone tell me any differences that raise the price 200 dollars between the 175 and 275

the 175 also has a rather stupidly designed "feature" of not being able to hear EQ changes in the headphones.

Get the 275. It was split-cue capability, eq in the headphones and "feels" sturdier and better designed.

i have the 275, it is a beautiful piece of equipment. as well as what everyone else has said:

the 275 has a line in on the face of the mixer, so you dont have to arse around at the back of the mixer if you want to plug sumthing in temporarily.. the 175 is also missing the parallel cue db level next to the master level LEDs. the 275 has pre AND post effect switches. the 275 doesnt have kill switches on the middle channel but the 175 has 'cut' switches (-24db) on all 3. the 275 also has 2 headphone outputs where the 175 doesnt.

but what sways it for me, the 275 comes in a more sexual colour

well you can do that if the knob is switched to "pgm". it wont work if the knob is on the "pfl" side.

So I am most likely leaning towards the 275

that is because pgm is the master signal, the pfl is the cue signal, which is what the guy is on about

You live in Ontario and you don't speak english?

The 275 is far better than the 175. More expensive, but you really get what you pay for. And it is all about the sexy color.

Not everyone in canada has english as their first language.

Theres a tribe called "the french" or something, who dont speak english as their first language.

I realize that, but most of the French Canadians are in Quebec, so it just seemed kinda strange. Doesn't really matter though.
