knicking stuff from work
whats the biggest thing(s) you have stolen from your workplace while being an employee, if anything?
just wondering
Its only on the level of puddings from a fridge. But then again I only work as a wash up as I'm still in school.
'knicking' doesnt have a 'k' in it.
shame on u, ur from the uk as well.
anyway, to the subject...
um...i dont think ive nicked anything from where ive worked...
probably pens and food and shit but thats abt it, nothing like a deep fryer or a microwave or anything substantial like that...

as a teenager I would "nick" all the time, money for pizza or pop, toilet paper for tpin houses (34 4-packs one time), but in shear amount I think it was just a pocket knife, a $70 one.
however my friend that worked in a large sports store would frequently take things, fishing reels (a $100 one for me and a few for my friends), tennis rackets, and the best one.....a $40 badmitten racket, graphite shaft....it was beautiful.
old job:
windows 2000, ms office 2000, VB6
countless cd-r's
current job:
loads of fruit. the occasional bar of chocolate.
was pretty tempted to steal a digital camera, but opted out in the end
old job == trainee software design engineer
curreny job: LIDL - > Store assistant
joe heany is the lidl king
Lidl's!!! The king of cheap booze
If I got a mate with a car I could probably steal a microwave, I think theyd notice it missing though and I'd be the prime suspect. I steal plenty of food though, pockets full of white chocolate buttons from catering packs
old job - say you wanted a regular hamburger meal (will remain nameless for liability's sake) that cost $5.40.
cashier - regular meal? [pushes the 5 on the pad, while keeping eye contact with the custy]
custy - yes please.
cashier - fries or onion rings?
custy- fries. [cashier pushes the 4 on the pad, custy remains oblivious]
cashier - what kind of drink? [presses the '0' upon the customer's choice]
Cashier - that's $5.40, they give you a 10 , you press no-sale, give them $4.60 back in change, so now there is a $5.40 surplus in the till. Change the waste-list and say you dropped a hamburger on the ground and everything is covered. Made a lot of money doing this. But I am reformed, and refuse to ever work in fast food again.
also, hehe, last summer i punked a 60 of Crown Royal, a 40 of Johnnie Walker, a 26 of apple shnapps and a multitude of beer from my miserly boss. Underpaid, underappreciated, overly-drunk.

smart guy b.s.e,
i'd do the same, but u get orders of about 170, so i really couldn't b arsed.
anyways, the only reason i'd steal money is to buy a bigger lunch, and anything in the shop i usually nick anyways
well, no, that aint true, but i've opened a few multi-packs and devoured the lot

Working at a restaurant is the best. Every night I had to close I'd have a filet mignon dinner to take home with me because I was one of the few people who was nice to the cooks. They'd always hook me up, I miss that.
