Any glowstringers-stickers-poippl around?
Just wanted to know if there r any ppl who do glowstringing besides me here...Always usefull when you need advice n stuff.

I'm kinda new doing glowstrings, done it for around 5 months i'm kinda good (my friends say) but I guess I still have lots of things to learn. I am switching form strings to chains so I can do it with fire in outdoor parties and stuff, but it's kinda hard.
So..like how many moves do do have? I'd like some advice too.
I use glowsticks once in a while...I stay away from the ones on strings...end up wacking myself too much. But Im pretty good I guess at regular glowsticking.
HaZZa - I glo stick as well. tried to with strings and lets say I had enought welts to last all of us a while heh. but yeah thats about it I have about 15 glo stick vids or so from AZ clubs thats about it. always need some advice so drop me a line later.
moves i know so far:
Butterfly in split time (for explanation of terms, check www.homeofpoi.com)
butterfly in equal time is still giving me sore nuts 
figure 8, left and right. (if u wanna know what i mean, aks me)
still workin on the weave/chase
can't seem to get the beats right...
I've been practicing for a week now, but its going well i think.
I try to master a move on at a time, so i dont mess up things..just workin of a list, till i get em all rite..
I heard chains dont work good because they're pretty heavy, but if u use em for fire-stringing, its gotta work.
Only advice i can give ya, is the advice u get everywhere...PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

heh, ive been glowsticking for a year and a couple months, but id rather stick to using my hands, im alot better at liquid and stuff like that then strings, even though i can do some thigns with the strings, like the windmill thing, the butterfly, and a coouple other moves that i dont know the names for.... homeofpoi, like somebody posted before is good for stringers, but strings are annoying, they get in the way and take up way to much room on the dance floor, there a good thing for people on like pillars or in the beggingin and end of a rave or on the sides.... but ya anyways.. just my thoughts

It is probably the only VHS vidoe out there for glowsticking. That alone makes it pretty good. It is a few years old and as far as the moves on it they are just alright. They have regular sticking & strings...so it might be worth it to see if you can slo-mo it and learn some moves. (They sell the video else where & it might be cheaper...thats just the first link I came upon)

Pretty cool site with all types of dancing videos, from breakdancing to liquid...Im not sure if they have much with actual glowsticks, but liquid applies to that anyway. They also have a forum which I havent checked out.
If anyone else finds or knows of any other cool sites please post them in here!
spinning rules!
Ive been spinning glowsticks and more recently photon lights for a while now. Its a blast and its part of the reason why i got so much into trance music. I got started using the tutorial on this web page --> www.juggling.co.nz they have a really comprhensive tutorial for beginning moves and some advanced moves as well. somebody said practice makes perfect and i cant tell you how true that is. i remember many a day when i would be lying on my floor clutching my balls cause the damn glowsticks knocked each other at the top of the butterfly and made a mad dash towards my crotch, but its all worth it when you show off at a club and have 50 or so people make a circle around you and chant you on. keep it up you wont regret it (cant tell you how many chicks give me their numbers so i can teach them how to do "that" )

I use glowsticks, but not on strings... i use them on key chain rings and use glowsticks like numb-chucks, and i'm amazing at it (sorry for braggin, but it's true!!). I've been doin it for more then a year now and have gotten pretty good... i like watching glowsticks on strings, but i don't like using them on strings because it's too much standing there swaying your arms, and i like to use my feet alot while i dance too so that's why i prefer the rings. i notice lately though i've been switching it up alot... sometimes i'll use sticks sometimes i'll use photons or a combination of both, or sometimes i won't use any at all and just liquid all night. Glowsticks are fun, but i only like to watch them when i'm messed up.

last friday, my glowstick broke so i pored it on my hair, and it went in my eyes and my mouth.. therefor i have the warning on my sig...
heard its tastes really bad, an the flavor stays like for a week

but after a while it goes away, and then yur left with the shit taste, and then u eat some gum and then its okay.....
I looooove glowsticks!!! I dunno if I'm any good with em tho.. I'm always too fucked to notice. my hands move on their own and I just stand there watching them!
Well if u use glowstix for dancin and u like it, i guess that counts as a glowsticker..
Too foktop to do nething doesnt count for me tho..I like to smoke when im stringin, but i hate the prat where i have to concentrate for moves..
swingin and swingin and swingin and...dam..lost count...
(that hurt..) LOL
