I'm curious to know if any TAs know anything about secret socities why/where they function.

my brother goes to uni and there is a secret society there called IMP and if the frat house has IMP painted on the front it means there is a IMP memebr inside the frat. its kinda cool. and on the first day of school teh whole 1st year calls met on the lawn and a cavalier[mascot] came riding up on a horse and handed the dean a check and rode away. he was from the secret 7. one of the most famous secret societys in exsitence

Isn't that self defeating if you advertise your secret society, or am I thinking too extreme.

That doesn't sound like a real secret society.

The top 3 secret societies are: Skull and Bones, Book and Snake, and Scroll and Key. They are all based in beautiful gothic buildings with no windows and what lies inside is a mistery to most people.
