which mixer\tt combo would you rather have?

this is all assuming the fact that price doesn't matter. if you were only going to have these for a combination, for the rest of your life, which would you rather have?

well there's not really a lot of middle ground when it comes to turntables. You're either paying $400 (new) for a turntable or you're paying for a POS that won't hold a pitch. Not that its impossible to mix with such decks, I just wouldn't reccomend it

You can have the greatest mixer in the world, but if you have lousy decks with no torque that can't hold a pitch and you can't even line up your beats, then your mixes are going to sound like shit. On the other hand, even with a crummy mixer you can make nice sounding mixes if you have good TT's that will hold their pitch.

So I'd get good turntables any day. You can get a perfectly decent mixer for $150.

I first voted for Very Good Mixer - Crap Turntables, because, that would mean I would prolly have an A&H mixer, they cost loads, and I could get Techs for about 800 bux cdn, thats far less money than a A&H, but then I read the first post and it said I would have to stick with that setup, well if so I would go for Bad Mixer - Good Turntables, because I would want my decks to hold pitch decently, plus you don't need an amazing mixer to make a really good mix, just like nrjizer said.

it took me a while to decide. After i read prodigy's post i thought about it... Get a Xone V6, crap decks, sell the v6 and crap decks, use the v6's $$$ to buy a Xone 92, 2 used 1200s, and 2 dn-s5000s or cdj1000mk2s.
