Speaker stand for Alesis M1 Active

Alesis' M1 Active� Biamplified Reference Monitors is what I have.. Any suggestions on what I can use to put them on a stand ???

I remeber seeing once many moons ago a set of speaker stands that had a flat metal top with a nylon strap to use to strap the speaker down on top of it...You might look for one of those.

why not bolt/screw on a 1-3/8" pole mount, get a stand?
