In the 2 months on this forum I learned that Bren's stuff is always worth downloading, and it shows.

I got to say I don't know the original track.. but this is a good quality remix you made here! New setup works. Me like!

Wow! I love the melody of the original mix. This remix is amazing! I love the strings at 4:41

Posted by Massive84 on Mar-13-2004 22:18:

dont like that piano thing in the very begin, and it still goes on...

base very funky, liking the perc alot also...

nicy synths coming in..very nice at 1.44!! you use reason, are those internal synths or samples?

nice strings in the intro!..

piano getting back ,liking it a bit more with all the elements going on, just allone i find it dumb (taste i think)...

break, nice pads!

now everything kicks in, very nice...

good tune i like it, only thing i think it's a bit to long..

cool buildup though with that acid.

very nice, i like it, the intro is nice, that piano in the intro is nice, i also like the 2nd synth. ok, the break with jus t the piano, little to long of a break but still nice, the comeback from the break is mint, and then when track kicks back in, it's just plain mint

9/10

Very nice remix and top notch production, as usual.

Don't particuarly like the original,as the melody doesn't do it for me, so not a lot much more to say.

Keep it up tho Brendon, the new set-up sounds good.

hey bren-f,

i got back from spring break just today and i checked out TA to see what was up. happy to see a new one from you. i like this remix a lot. very well done. the crispness and clarity of the synths really are amazing. i would spin this if i get the chance. although i am not a big fan of the bass. it doesnt detract my listening experience at all. but if i created this remix i dont think i would have used that type of sound. maybe it would be a more fuller sound if a little delay was added? but actually now that im listening, i like the sound of the bass as you mess with the sound at the end of the track. anyway, it sounds real good. hope your new setup will help you with whatever youve got lined up for the future.
take care

hollen

A good mix mate! Really liking the synth work.

I'm not too sure whether the bass is always sounding in tune though, there's some slight detuning perhaps? The 'loose notes' could cause this as well...

Keep it up!
Wim

Wicked track!

Posted by capricorn15 on Mar-21-2004 20:40:

listening to this now.
i like those pianos at the beginning. that bassline is sort of weird, maybe i think its a bit too strong. after 140 it is sounding pretty good, nice and uplifting. sounds a bit cluttered for me from like 200 - 225 but i am not the biggest trance fan lately, but some is still good. i like the way you enter into the breakdown. i like the pads coming in at 305 those are really nice. and then those new strings at 330, they are nice as well. i like the build up melody as well, builds it up nicely. that bassline is a little too much i think though. i like those fx you have from 550, those are pretty cool. only negative thing i would say about this song is that bassline, dont like it too much, but other than that, its nice
7.5/10
