I was reading posts in the 'dodgy record store' thread and came across one post that mentioned this link so decided to check it out. I was wondering, from those of you who have used it, how reliable this website is because I'm a little skeptical on the idea for now. Is it a good place to get those hidden gems that nobody can find anymore?
I only used it once, got an extra-rare vinyl with no problems at all
same here. got an original of
LA Style - James Brown Is Dead
cheap and quickly. But afaik, they list many different record stores, so I would always take a look at the store's user rating (like ebay)

i've used it three or four times and never had any problems but i've only order from people with four star ratings.
+1
I think you should only keep seller rating in mind while buying, otherwise it's a great site, ordered some records from it 3 or 4 times, no problem
yesh, i got a way rare vinyl from one of their sellers without any problems. but i did find one wayyyyyy dodgy italian record shop that told me this...

Thanks for your order Jesse, by the way it seem that your card has not enough funds for it. In order to pay by AMERICAN EXPRESS, VISA or MASTERCARD you should be so kind to email me your credit card details in two or more separate emails. I mainly need the card number, the expiration day and the cardholder name. |
i order from gemm all the time...just stick to the well rated shops and you get your records no problem...
gemm owns.. i order all my rares off of it or ebay
check rating of the store before you buy! stick with good rating and your fine
gemm is the absolute best as long as you stick to good sellers
