product reviews, as promised
I recently bought some new equip, and said i would review it.
so here i am reviewing.
anyway i got the vestax pcv-275A mixer. in comparrison to the djm-300s i had. IT RULES. the eq's don't go to -26, only -16. but it doesnt matter cuz if ur gonna bring the eq past -16 u may as well kill the input. I never used the 270 so i can't say how the new improved fader is. it works the same supposedly, just lasts longer.
as for record preservation, i got 3 things. this non-residue cleaner, a carbon-fiber anti-static/dust brush, and some gruvglide.
non-residue cleaner left residue, it SUCKED
carbon-fiber brush FUCKING SCRATCHED A RECORD. it sucked and i am fighting with the company.
gruv glide cleans nicely, coats, kills static, and just kicks ass.

yah it is really wierd. i didnt push very hard at all. put it at an angle and let it slide. it didnt make deep scratches but if u look at the surface it has swurl marks all over. it was made by pickering
gruv glide, i don't know the home page, but heres a site that sells it. http://www.needledoctor.com/showite...m=0&itemnum=200
275
How does the 275 compare to the 270. What are the differences? Just curious cause I am looking to get the 270 and wanted to know if the 275 is better.
