EVERYONE if you love trance read this......

Alright fellow TA's this entire week the threads have been filled with anger vent/in the shit/life sux/had enough/etc..etc... now what im going to do is start a thread this week that lets everyone tell why you love trance and or how you discovered it.....as for me the reason i love trance is because if you got the beats going in your car, and a nice cold can of red bull, then trance can act as a 'natural high' thats something i enjoy about trance. hope to hear from alot of ya.....peace

I love trance because the music speaks for itself, each song has like a different meaning , if you know what I mean.. like Joy, sadness, memorable.. etc .. the beats just take you away, and bring the best state of XTC and euphoria .. and all you do is feel the music, close your eyes and dream away... and I discovered trance by listening to 1 of the most hated radio stations here in FL, but thanx to it Im here with you guys .. hehehe .. I was listening to this radio called POWER 96, and they were playing tunes from the likes of Push, Kay Cee, Pulp Victim , and yes.. Alice Deejay .. I have to thank them really

ta_wilson when i say "natural high" i think of it the way i can act listing to the musik. if you ever been high (which i dont advocate) then the way you act is how i can act by just listing to the musik. its pure. Hard for me to explain thats probably why i love it.

First of all, the discovery.

Made at a show where Talla @XLC was invited. He had to choose his fav. videos (4), and among them was BT's Flamig June Felt in love with it in an instance! I've seen all the replays of that show, only for it. And this trak is still my fav.!

Many consider that trance goes best with drugs. My g/f read one of these threads about "trance+drugs=happiness" and told me U don't need any stimulent for these emotions. If they R naturaly born in U, U will feel trance at maximum w/o shit. (SO TRUE!)

Ever since that song I've been hooked on thie genre, never to give it away. Not only the sound. It's quite a small part of trance. If U COULD define it, I guess rephering to the sound will be made last. It's about all those chills and shivers... Standing in the dark, eyes closed (with the loved one in Ur arms...so close to heaven... ), letting it invade U, take over U... nothing else seems to exist, reality seems THEN just a dream. I guess there is no way to describe it though. If U feel it, it means U have something few have. And something beautiful in a life that is always going to have bad parts.

the reason I listen to trance is because it makes me feel good all over, every time i hear it....it makes me forget about everything around me, and takes me through a rollercoaster of emotions man, I say trance should be sold in pills also hehe

I first discovered trance after i got into university, I became a friend with a guy who i still believe is somewhat of a freak! ....thats cause he's always hyper.....he always played it, and the first set I listened to was DJ Tiesto @ Innercity 99.....after that I got hooked..

The reason I love listening to trance is because of the feeling it gives me, I close my eyes, and when I listen to the music, im in a completely different universe, the music speaks to you and put you in a state of trance....anything you feel, can be expressed with the music and without any words even.....it speaks to ur soul....love, sadness, happiness, makes u wanna dance....and ofcourse memories

The first time I ever listened to any type of electronic music I was on a really bad comedown from some weird acid I had. Anyways I heard Binary Finary 98 and I was just chillin in the back of this car drivin out in the middle of nowhere wit my buddy. The car had really good Pioneer subs in it so I was feelin the base. I was trippin large of this acid. I wanted to die. Then he put in a cd and it was that Binary Finary song. I just leaned back closed my eyes and it made me feel soooooo much better. I was just chillin, I didn't want to die any more and it was all good.

I listen to Trance because it makes me feel like I can do anything I want. It gives me emotions I can't even explain. They rush through me like waves. It's hard not to feel the music. It makes me feel happy and peaceful. I can hear, see, smell and feel everything around me.
I would never give up Trance. I love it. My life would be totally insane right now if it weren't for trance. I owe my life to Trance.

err...i kinda got into dance music after alternative...then sorta found my way to trance after d/l'ing lotsa mp3's and finding more stuff i liked...ya now i think i'm a ta tho

...after listening to magik 5 & 6...damn i love this stuff!!! ...tho i knew that well before too

Before trance, I listened to Gabber/Hardcore and before that Eurodance (don't flame me, I was 12!!hehe)

My first tranceparty was in 1999, when I went to a gabberrave called Digital Overdose in a hall near my house. I went with my boyfriend who was a speedgarage/club dj at that time. I never even got to go into the gabber hall, because we went straight to the trance hall and stayed there ALL night! It was amazing! I was used to a bit of an aggressive atmosphere @ raves, cuz that's how it was at gabberraves! And in that trancearea the atmosphere was soooo good! Everybody was dancing and having fun, tripping and chating with eachother...just really enjoyable
Well, I had been listening to speedgarage since '98 but the trance @ Digital Overdose really gave me the push towards trance music. I remember the dj (Spider Willem I believe) spun Out of Grace - Anglia and we all went crazy over it.....GREAT!!!!

(i've never been to any gabberrave after that haha)

right now I'm much into techno, but next to that my trance (progressive whatever) heroes will always be Paul van Dyk and King Mauro, and more recently, Armin van Buuren just love m

Good Question! why do I like trance? well, it's meaningful , it's full of feelings, energizes you, and takes you to a higher state of conciousness...also it ivites you to dance and have this excellent time even if you're alone. I discovered it almost by accident in 1995 while I was In Monterrey in a comic-con, we went to a rave and listened to it for the first time...mixed with techno and stuff but since then I've been addicted. I used to listen euro-danceas well and techno (2 unlimited, jam & spoon, etc.) before but since then.....everything's changed!

well my friend made me download a techno song(Crystal Method) and other ones, so i got into techno(kinda) until he bought a slinky cd(mixed trance) and thats when i just really liked trance.. Wasnt too long ago but since then its mostly just been trance with a little bit of all electronic on the side.
I like it cause it can release a lot inside of you, it can pick you up, make you feel happy, it can actually make you want to tear(more manly than "cry") cause its just so powerful.. i mean i can just zone out while blasting it.
Plus it just clicked for me, i was never a hard listener of any music, sure i liked it all but when i heard trance i knew i would keep on hearing it.
