Something wrong with my music..

Can you help me to find out what's wrong with my single I posted some days ago?
http://www.rajanaveda.com/Alien-DJ_Alien-Euphoria.mp3

Comparing with other mixes, I feel like the music is "far" , Im not sure how to tell it..
How can I bring the sounds to "forward" cz its like coming from behind or far...

hope you can get what I mean. (Just compare with other mixes )

maybe too much reverb/delay ? or mastering not good? or the levels are not good ?

thanks for ur support.

Okay, first off, the kick sample you use is average, and that's being nice. The pad seems to have a bit of reverb on it which will push it back in the mix.

Song has some cool ideas in it though. It reminds me of clapton vs bowlen - elements.

Lead also has reverb on it yeah?, which will push that back in the mix. I don't think that the problem is too much reverb, but more the dominance of instruments that are reverbed. The kick and bassline which tend to be front and centre are very week and don't show themselves too well in the mix. A stronger kick sample and a deeper bassline along with some compression to make everything sound fuller will help in your problem.

10x for ur comments mate

So I guess I should raise the pad & synths a lil bit?
too bad I dont have cool kick samples.. this one is the 4th I changed, the best one I got.

I'm thinking of RE-MASTERING the track, with more bass & treble + more mid. range than this one.
d u suggest it?

No, I'm pretty sure I said the opposite of that. leave the pads and synth as they are and increase the strength of the kick and bassline. Sample a kick off a hard trance track and for the bassline, well that just takes practise.
