Naked Angel Remix
Anyone remember that competition back in december? Well, I did a remix, but didnt get around to submitting it. So I thought i'd post it here for anyone who might wanna listen to it. It was made in november, and i would say my production skills and style has changed alot since then. Anyways, here is the link, Right click and Save Target As...

man, like a year you've had that box sitting in your room and you just decided to host your mix now!?!
sheesh, talk about lazy
I don't think it sounds bad at all. I have a few small comments, though (not that I know anything about producing).
Overall youv'e done a nice job, but I find the structures and melodies of the song a little amateurish sounding. Maybe you should have tweaked the effects/mastering a little more? Also, your melodies and bassline sound an awful lot like the original mix of Naked Angel, would have been a lot cooler if you'd gone somewhere with it or given it a unique style or spin of your own. All the sounds and instruments to make a really wicked remix were there, I think you just needed to tweak them more to make a truly great remix.
Again, don't take my word for anything, because I don't produce (yet). It's not bad but it could have been better. Thanks for sharing it!
I see you really like Azix Adam....
as much as we all do...
Then jump on the bandwagon and join the alliance! =P
sure , why not
I'd have to agree with shad0w on this, even though I'm in the same boat (production wise, not having any recent experience).
I'm not a big fan of the original, and I told Sean once at Viva, it'd be nice to see someone rip apart the original and build something new and interesting out of it. I liked 3rd Earth though. A lot of the remixes out there sound a lot like the original too.
As shad0w said, you used some new instruments and effects, and if applied right, they could totally work. That saw like sine or whatever you use right up to the first major breakdown 4:45 in, its cool, but it sounds like its off most times, and its distracting. I like what's starting to happen after the 5 min mark, the general beat, and if at the end of the breakdown you laid down some energy that'd rock. This could be a thumping club or trance track, or even some breaks or effects or stuff, because its been chilled a lot already by others. I think you've got potential and I look forward to hearing more from ya!
Overall, I guess I'd have to say I like this better than the original so far
Dope, I'll listen to this a little later when I reacquire my headphones.
