i was really intrigued by this when i saw the previews!

Posted by TwoPlow on Mar-19-2004 14:35:

Yeah, the previews make this look really interesting. I want to see it. Jim Carrey is pretty good in most of his movies.

The highlight of Jim Carey's career is still In Living Color.

Ace Ventura: two of his best films. Cable guy sucked apparently, but I haven't seen it so in my eyes, he remains untarnished!!

just saw it and have to say it was a pretty unique film compared to the rest of the movies that are in circulation today. i definitly recommend it.

It's pretty trippy even though I figured out what was gonna happen halfway through =P Some cool visual effects and an interesting setting (takes place in Jim Carrey's mind)... It takes place on LI which is cool too.

beautiful beautiful
one of the greatest films that i've seen in recent memory. never saw a movie that made me analyze my own past relationships subconciosly while watching the movie at the same time

spoiler alert do not read!
---------------------------------------

i love how the memory erasures go backwards, from the most recent/negative to the earlier/positive. which somehow ties up the movie in a good way b/c the message at the end of the movie tells you that no matter how bad a relationship can get, one must not forget why you got together in the first place. i'm not sure if ALL relationships are salvageable but it's glass-is-half-full message at the end is a strong reminder of the healing power of forgiveness

saw it last night...best movie i've seen this year
might see it again tonight

Posted by JayD on Mar-23-2004 17:21:

I thought it was beautiful.

Spoilers ahead so don't read..

With all the crazy stuff that was going on, their were really moments when you would just sit their and get really into the characters. As when they were in the bookstore, the first phone call, when they were on the ice. The time they were running through the house...

ect...

Very good movie. Another veiwing out of the movie thearter and it'll get into my head more.

Would definitely like to see it

Posted by SuckUpMySenses on Mar-27-2004 07:38:

i just saw it tonight and have been wanting to see since i saw the very first preview. The directing is very diverse, i love that. I loved all the memories, it made me wonder if i would ever fall in a love like that... it was the very little details that mattered most. It reminded me to experience all that I've never experienced, even if it will be taken away, because all things must eventually end. I loved the character of Kate Winslet, wow... i've never known anyone like that, but if I would live the life of a character, it would definately be hers, im not quite sure why yet, maybe it was that she was so free, no restrictions or boundaries.. ehh excellent movie ! go see it, im buying it when it comes out ohhh yeah, i cant stand jim carreys sense of humor lol or how he acts in all his other films.. this was different. Kate was fiiine.
