Dj End Of Story / Help A Friend

hey all, i have a friend who has a lot in the dj music business and stuff who has a serious problem in the last year called hyperacusis (suffered from sensitivity to loud noise ), thats why he lately left the technics..
to make things more clear i added an url of other person who had this problem (and claims that founds a cure)
well, this cure is kinda expensive one (3000$) .
wanted to ask you guys if u happen to know about this problem , if any1 suffer or know any1 who suffer from this and found a way to solve it.
