For inside Canada you'd probably want to go with Jetsgo, WestJet, Zip, or actually Air Canada but their Tango flights.

Outside of Canada I have no idea.

Priceline. You name your own price.

If you're talking flying from Calgary, you couldn't be more wrong. Priceline only has flights from US airports and you can only bid if you're a US citizen.

Depending on where you want to go and whether you want just a flight or airfare, I would give you different answers.

As a fallback, you could always use Expedia.

Oh. Well, I usually spend my vacations in Boston (family lives there) so I often fly there and back on a Priceline flight. I didn't realize it was USA only. My bad

expedia.ca travelocity flight center air transat
i would find the cheapets air fare and take a print out to flight center, their policy is that they would beat any price (so long as its legit and blah blah blah)
check regular airlines too, they have sales quite often, but also check the taxes cause they could kill the whole point of the sale

if you're flying to europe, check out British Midlands
check the whatever country you're flying into airline also, and the neighbouring countrys' airlines

I used jets go, and that's the cheapest ticket I was able to get. Notice also that some dates are cheaper than others. For instance I bought my ticket from TO to Van for $169, but it only cost this little from Jan 6, 2004 to Jan 25, 2004. While on Jan 3 it was something on the lines of $400-$500

oh yeah, also avoid flying on the weekends unles you really really have to, its an extra $150 if you're flying to europe.

i think wedensdays are the cheapest, then its tuesdays and thursdays, and mondays and fridays. i think the way they decide on prices is the more people fly on a certain day, the more expensive it is to do so
