Steve May - Open Day (Luke Chable Mix)

Brilliant breaks mix from Mr Chable, there may be another thread i dunno?! this tune is similar to his remix of Your Light and if not is even better. More releases than ever from luke, anyone have info on this Steve May guy??

This mix is the s**t...is there a progressive mix of this track?

Posted by CortexBomb on Apr-01-2004 23:24:

The quality of Chable's work is even more impressive given the quantity of it...

This track is remarkable...I just wonder if it's getting lost in the veritable sea of other mixes that have been done by him in the past year or so...

OMG just heard this. WOW it is mind blowing

Posted by capricorn15 on Apr-11-2004 23:25:

havent heard this but luke reminds me of matt darey in 99 when he had a remix of like everything. then took a long break, hope chable doesnt though

Luke Chable's work (for me at least) is getting a lot better than it has been. Maybe I'm just getting into prog and breaks more lately, but I never used to like any prog at all. His last few tunes, such as Melburn and his remix of Dreamer are awesome, and this is just as good.

Angry Thumbs Up

you have no idea what's coming.

This is too similar to his remix of "Your Light". Besides, those elements don't fit this one. I have to admit I'm disappointed of the remix.

Still, the original is quality.

Another quality remix from Chable indeed. I personally like this one a lot more than Trafik... wicked drum programming. The original is excellent, too. It was immediately one of my favourite tunes on Cattaneo's Renaissance comp. Wicked melodic prog...

Regarding the man himself, don't know much about him except he's ca 20 and from Australia... anyway, this is very impressive first release so looking forward to hearing more tunes from him...

cheers for the support guys.

open day is my first release, there should be a few promos floating around and the full release was last monday so it should be hitting the shelves in no time, so keep an eye out. its on EQ grey.

i'm still overseas in canada, cant wait to get home to write some more records.
if your interested, i'm 20 and from melbourne as kinde pointed out.

Great track, both original and Chable's remix. Can't wait to get my hands on the 12" to really compare which version i prefer.

Looking forward to hear more of your tracks in the future, Steve.

What he said... the original is top shelf.

Posted by spyk on May-11-2004 12:25:

can't decide between the original and chable's tbh, might stick with the original since Luke Chable's got so many top productions floating about anyway Was well pleased to find this last week tho, best new tune i found recently!

Another wonderful remix by Luke Chable, yet it's not as impressive as some of his other remixes such as Powerplant's 'Blame'.

Love Poundin' Sensation

I am loving the original and luke chable mixes of this CHOON at the moment. 10/10 IMO
