Whats the longest trance track?? Iv'e heard one at 12:52..Which was i think Sinead O Connor - Troy..A remix..

Tubular Bells isn't trance.

After reading through those it looks like the answer largely depends on what you define as "trance," and whether you snag yourself on technicalities such as the length of a maxi CD. The longest compositions listed (I can't really call them singles) are all ambient:

Steve Roach - The Dream Circle (73:55)
The Orb - Blue Room (39:58)

Here are the longest I found in those threads from other genres, though there's some ambient crossover:

Underworld - Dark & Long (Thing In A Book) (20:12)
Spicelab - We Got Spice (19:14)
Blue Amazon - Searching (16:34)
Sunday Club - Healing Dream (15:17)

Any more ideas? I'd really like to get a definitive answer to this question, though I'm willing to accept there might not be one.

my longest one is 15:36 and is the Blue Amazon remix of Bedrock ft KYO - For what you dream of not the longest by far, but the best I can muster from my collection

Sure it's trance, drop a few tabs sit in a dark room with white ceiling fan, a black light and you'll be in a state of trance.

DJ Scot- Future Is Now around 14 mins

Not trance but Goldie - Timeless is a 20:59 long dnb track. And what a track it is. Try it out!

Its not Finished Symphony but just Symphony, the 1996 early version of Finished Symphony. That 14+ min version is the hard to get full length of Symphony as the official releases had a slightly re-edited version.

The longest single dance track I own would have to be:

The Future Sound of London- Papua New Guinea (Andrew Weatherall Full Length Mix) 11:40

Note that this isn't the common edit found on the original 1992 and 1996 singles, but the rare full version only found on the expanded Accelerator album.

Blue Amazon have some really long tracks. Like from their album The Javellin:

Trip to Heaven (14:00)
Never Forget (15:15)
Searching (16:34)
The Javelin (13:46)

And Then The Rain Falls - Javelin Mix (15:17)

the longest I have is

Jean Michel Jarre - Waiting for Cousteau

got it on a cd somewhere so can't check the length but if I'm not mistaken it's +40min


edit: 46:55 according to discogs, and yes it is one track, and yes I consider it trance

Maybe not only the longest but just maybe the BEST trance song thats ever been done.
