Avalon NYC Bouncer and J00F

Does anyone know what's up with the dude in the trenchcoat at Avalon, NYC? The other bouncers vary, but every time I've been there he's been there, 6+ft tall, wearing a black leather trenchcoat with a walkie-talkie on the brest pocket. Is he a narc or something? Oddly, he's let me in before when I was underage.

Also, was J00F supposed to have been @ Arc on the 19th originally?
