Well we all know what mixes and remixes are but what about the following:

-Accapella
-Version
-Re-Edit
-Edit
-Dub

-Accapella - vocals only
-Version - eh, sometimes radio version meaning no swearing and short intro, or original version...which is obvious.
-Re-Edit - editted again
-Edit - you changed a bunch o shit up.
-Dub - very little or no vocals. sometimes a darker sound. No I will not define darker.
