Hi everyone, you may notice that i'm new here but i'm already loving this great site (I made TA my startup page). Thanx for having me.
I was wondering if it would be cool to have a section of the forum for TA members to share their tunes that they have.
I was in another forum before (homeofmusic) and what made them so great was because they had a section of the forum where members uploaded their songs up to their Myplay lockers and posted the details on the board for other members to sample and download tunes. People also posted their mp3 Ftp there too.

This was the most popular section of their forum, and it built a tighter "community" where everyone was so eager to help everyone else look for the tune that they want and also helping themselves as well.

I have a lot of tunes that I would like to share with TA members, either from uploading them to myplay or opening up my FTP. What do you think of this mods?

Sometimes I have some request for tunes that i would like to get my hands on, it would be great just to have a seperate section in the forum for members to go to and see what others have to share. Thanx for reading.

we've talked about sharing thousands of times and u being new wont have seen the times when people has sed "download 'x' here", and then posted there locker details, which is a good deed, but maybe u dont maybe u do no that if u dont sign out of a myplay locker, and then other people sign in and also dont sign out, the locker gets suspended and then the owner has to email myplay and get it running again, basically EVERY locker detail that has ever been posted, the locker gets suspended coz twats cannot be bothered to sign out, i have a locker but dont trust people to sign out as they never do on every1 elses, + as a locker sign in gives u the same authority as the owner, people in the past have actually lost there lockers when people who we've baned, like spammers and constant flamers, read the boards, gets the details and delete the whole locker, which is lame but peeps have done, personally it would be a great idea, just peeps dont apprechiet (sorry bout the spelling) a good thing! sharing with ftp's tho, cant see a problem with that?

I'm aware of these issuess, there's twits everywhere you go and you can't avoid them. And it's a big problem in many forums as well. The way I see it, I'd only give out my locker details through email or icq, that way you will at least know who's been accessing your lockers. If you ask people who are using your lockers to respect your rules, than most people will..only a small minority of people there cause mayhem.
And I would make multiple accounts, I wouldn't upload like 3 gigs worth of music in one locker. I might upload maybe max 50 tunes to one locker and then create another account. It's shitty but in the end, it'll be worth it.
