Edmonton FM radio listeners!

by now most of you Edmontonians must have tuned into 107.9 FM within the last few years and noticed trance music being played over the airways.. only exclusive on the weekends but it is still great.. i know that 88.5 plays a lot of trance and other electronic music (i know cause i used to host a show and i played the newest trance every week!) but anyhow 88.5 trance shows just don't cut it for me cause the hosts suck ass now.. but 107.9 plays some kick ass recorded live sets... my bro is working out something with the guy to play some other newer live sets.. i am hoping to hear some ASOT sets on a weekly basis .. maybe eventually it can be an official radio station.. hint hint..

wow...thats interesting..maybe the internet radio is not good enuff for you? well not to brag but check out the Vancouver based Trance Station at www.aslradio.com. or simply tune in www.aslradio.com/asl.pls

I can NEVER get 107.9 to tune in.. I've only listen to it once at a friends house... I always try in the car and in my room thought but enver get it. They need to get a more powerful signal.

It would be cool though hearing ASOTs on there.

its in the workings... i have to contact the owner and work things out... you can only tune in to it in the northside and it cuts off just after whyte ave...

not sure about edmonton but i know that other cities can get it via satellite, costs $10 or so a month

thx for the radio station. i hate it when i forget my trance cd's and have to listen to 80's cheese on Joe FM

True dat, I can hear it whilst I head downtown but only once I pass the Bonnie Doon traffic circle, [b[how frustrating[/b] (since I live 10 blocks away from Whyte ...)

Although the idea of XM radio is cool, I heard from a few people that it really sucks. The guy that sold me my deck even told me there was one type of trance station and it licked. But that was long time ago .. I'd still get it, though.
