JZ will be in Austin @ Sky Lounge on April 23 according to his promoter.

Haven't seen it posted anywhere around here...sorry if it has.

Only about a week left till James Zabiela. I saw him last month in Houston and IT WAS INSANE. The guy is just simply amazing live.

Any other TA's going. The SATA's will be there representing. Hope to see some of you others there.

Petersdjgirl if you wouldnt mind, could you please post upcoming gigs on here (or in our new regional forum whenever Swamper gets around to creating it).

I would just check out www.skyloungeaustin.com but they never update their webpage. You are also the only Austin TA that I see that posts on here frequently.

I as well as others would greatly appreciate it.

Go see this man if your in the area. I seen him on easter monday where he was warming up for sasha. He was absolutely amazing. It was my first time seeing him in around two years. On the night he was better than sasha. Good fella too, he came onto the dancefloor during sasha, talked to fans, posed for photos etc.

If your in the area and don't go, its your loss. You'll only live to regret it.

My first post btw. I just joined the crowd here.

I haven't heard much from this DJ but i'll check out the web to see what i can find.

I live in Austin and frequently visit Sky Vue (aka skylounge). Do any of you guys/gals meet up at the club for some dancing? I have 2 friends that are Friday night regulars (I volunteer Saturday mornings so friday nights i have to cut short :-( ). I'm trying to get "into" the scene a little more but can't seem to find the right crowd. anyway, just checking to see what's up. I'll try to be there.

Dude James Zabiela is easily one of the top 10 DJs in the world imo. He plays a lot of progressive and progressive break tracks. All of his sets involve live remixing, scratching, and sampling the man is simply amazing live. THE BEST technical DJ imo.

PS Welcome to TA If you want to know more about the scene. you came to the right place.

he'll be spinning downstairs correct? i really wish they would get a better light show system there. as small as the place is they could really fill the room with lazers with minimal amount of mirrors.

i know austin pretty well. just give me a timeframe and i will choose a good spot. something close to downtown and such. 6th street has plenty of bars for some pre-techno action lol. i know of one in particular that was booming with females the last time i went. could be a hit or miss thing but with the end of the semester coming up, i can bet that certain clubs will be packed.

my recommendation is always going to be baby acapulco margarita's. they put everclear in them sobs! 1 of those gets you a good buzz. i can't drink too much as i have to volunteer at the childrens hospital on saturday mornings. i'll be having a red bull early in the morning that's for sure.

this would be pretty cool if we could get the gang to hook up for some drinks and tunes.

btw, don't freak out that i'm 30. lol.
