DDR Tunes

Anyone like the Dance Dance Revolution songs?
I overheard Bambee - Bumble Bee in a car passing by and i just had that tune stuck in my head. Now that i'm home, I'm looking for DDR tunes all over. Anyone else addicted?

lol i like them too well a few of them, the game is rather addictive. lange - drifting away is one of my favorites on it, plus B4U and hysteria

DDR tunes = cheese

DJ Sammy, DJ Alligator Project, Darude (his old cheesy sound) and much more.

award winning lyrics:

Bambee - Bumble Bee

Sweet little bumble bee
I know what you want from me
Dub-di-dub-i duh-dah-dah
Dub-di-dub-i duh-dah-dah
Sweet little bumble bee
More than just a fantasy

My heart skips a beat
When you walk in the room
I go boom boom boom
You go zoom zoom zoom
You're my playboy, playtoy, lover, my friend
I wanna be with you until the end

I'd give my heart and my soul to you
To make you see it's true
I'm so confused baby can't you see
Please come rescue me

I start to cry
When you walk out that door
You go bye bye bye
I go why why why
I'm so lonely and only waiting for you
O come back and tell me: I love you

LMAo.. but yeah.. my fave is Matsuri Japan and Ethnic Exotic (Exotic Ethnic?)..

Posted by Lira on Mar-29-2004 17:19:

Smile.dk - Butterfly
Captain Jack - Captain Jack

...

I want a DDR

Posted by djeternal2004 on Mar-29-2004 17:53:

lol @ butterfly ...

boom boom dollarrr *mighty finee dollar*

nah but some tunes i like from that game :

Colors .. vocals are not bad in this one

Some stuff by an artist called Taq is pretty good imo for a supposedly cheesy dance game .. if he changed his producing style a bit there could be some potential there

Posted by Stories on Mar-29-2004 19:21:

I really like Luv Unlimited - Candy, happy hardcore fits the bill just right for DDR

As for the artists that do stuff for DDR, most of them are produced by one guy (forgot his name) but he does so many of the different aliases (ie. Naoki, Luv Unlimited, Omega, System SF etc.). It's odd cause he produces so many different styles, but he says one of his biggest inspirations is (obviously) Ferry Corsten (in particular the System F guise) since he is pretty popular in Japan. That's what I remember from reading the biography in the end of the DDRMAX booklet.... hehe, Yeah I own it.

Posted by djSlain on Mar-29-2004 21:19:

ya, B4U is pretty cool
i really like the funky beats of all the paranoia mixes. i play it alot on my drumset (pencils and desk)

Posted by Perfect_Cheezit on Mar-29-2004 22:14:

Lange and Dumonde tunes are actually on some of the different arcade versions of DDR, so is Aurora

hhmm... I wasn't expecting people to laugh when they read it, but it was rather a way to show how interestingly music changes

1) The Russians did take a great step creating synths, as the Theremin was the first "instrument you didn't need to touch in order to get sound"... and it was electric.
2) Discothques were indeed born in France, during the hitlerist invasion. They couldn't have jazz bands playing live (that sort of dancing was forbidden) so they had to create underground clubs and had records played on gramophones. After the war, the formula was taken to the US and disco music was soon born.
3) House evolved from disco in to different brenchs: the one from Chicago and the one from NYC.
4) Techno was born in Detroit, created by the Belleville trio.
5) Trance evolved from German techno, and Europe always had a taste for that sort of "music heavily based on synths" in the likes of trance.
6) I'm not really sure if jungle was created in London, but I do remember that it's got its influences from early breakcore/hhc, which became a new genre.
7) It's just me and my trancestep propaganda (which I do solely for fun), but I would never expect (or want) to see a genre prevail over the others... if it ever happened to trancestep, I would start producing something else, like Shibuya-kei (it's too much fun to be ignored).

If my sig, however, offends you because of your religion, just PM me and I'll edit it right away

I am not very sure what DDR is, but i think Smile - Boys is one of them?

Posted by gabor3000gt on Mar-30-2004 10:07:

lol, nice thread

I was an addict a few years back, used to play that sucker on my dreamcast, and YES!, it was addicting!! I even bought 2 mats, though I preferred to play it on my gamepad. Paranoia always got me My record was 435 combo, as I recall.

Heh, I might have to dust off my DC and boot this game after I finish posting

Btw, I even bought/downloaded the musics, DDR, DDR second revolution, and DDR club mix

Posted by EnerJen on Mar-30-2004 21:12:
