thought i might throw it in here... what do you guys think of Mortal Kombat's theme by The Immortals??

i have never, ever listened to it

neither have i watched the movie

im so sad

I love the theme song, its catchy and fast. The lyrics ownz..."Johnny Kage, Rayden, Subzero, Scorpion."

Whoa, I always thought it was done by Utah Saints. I guess not.

I've always really liked it. Helps that I was a huge fan of the game back in the day, too.

they did a remix (also found on the original ST)

isn't the original made by KMFDM? and then someone edited the song with loops of the mortal kombat characters?

KMFDM did the original. Don't know about any other versions.

Great soundtrack, has "Oribital - Halcyon + On + On" on it as well.

Great CD, a mixture of rock and electronica. I wasn't aware that Josh Wink and Juno Reactor did material for this soundtrack, glad that I look over it again.

I cant tel you how obsessed i used to be with that game.

When I wanted to hire the movie years back, I can remember my mum saying if I hire it will you delete the game?

as for the theme... liked it years ago. Nowadays the synth seems kinda gay

OMG! I was so obsessed with that game... I had a collection of all the videogames related to Mortal Kombat (still can't figure out why they spell Combat with a "K", though)... Anything by the creators of the original, Ed Boon and John Tobias... I had MK1,MK2,MK3,MK-trilogy,MK-mythologies "sub-zero",MK-4,MK-special forces (I hated that last one, it was a splotch of disgrace on MKs legacy, real crappy)... I even had both movies "Mortal Kombat" and "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation"...

whoa! must... stop... blabbing!!!!!!

P.S. I never knew the theme could be gay... hmmm... interesting...

You play Mortal Kombat V: Deadly Alliance yet? The series is revived and better than ever! I can't wait for MK6, that game is going to be deep as hell. Many new modes are being added.

yeah like DeaD or Alive 3 multi stages..and a new Konquest Mode...

sorry for being st00pid but what does Hire mean in your statement? Cause we certainly dont have an expression like that in the states. just curious. thx

BAHAHAHAHA, I used to impress everyone by playing the synth [intro-melody] and riff [orchestral-hit melody] on the keyboards @ school, but the fame backfired and it started to get annoying when they ask if you could play it every 2 seconds! :lol:

Sub Zero was my favorite charater, OMG ripping the opponents head off was so "the shit" back then

Hahhaha I loved the Movie and damn back in the day and still today. When I hear MORTAL COMBAT!! The hair on my arms tingle!!!! Utah Saints just owned that song beyond belief IMHO.

My favorite part of the song is the ending. The Keyboarding is fantastic

Of course, I also remember: Mortal Kombat Cartoon, Mortal Kombat action figures, Mortal Kombat Halloween costumes, Mortal Kombat Live, oh and I also have a Mortal Kombat slammer for that Pog game (24k Gold plated).
