about samples...
was wondering if you all gonna post 128kbps or lower samples,,,,anyway you can post them as OGG files..cuase they sound soo clean even at 56kbps...
the problem is not everyone has OGG encoders and also not everyone has a media player that plays OGG files... mp3 to me is good enough and already downloads quick enough unless if it's a crappy host
As mentioned:
-Not everyone is aware of how to encode OGG's
-Most musichosts sites only allow mp3 and/or wma formats
I don't think players are that much of a problem since Winamp plays OGG and I think Media Player does too...
As for the first issue, I'd love to have a program that encodes MP3 so if you could post the name of one (and provide a link hopefully ) I'd be interested
I'd be interested in an OGG encoder!
If you want to post a small MP3 file, please post at least 128 kbps so it can be reviewed properly. Just a small sample is ok to hear prod. quality, percs, synth, composition, etc, almost everything. Only build up might be a problem of short samples.

Originally posted by Jay M Tnx mate. Look for LAME. Don't have a URL for complete package. It's an encoder and others made frontend GUIs for it. Freeware. (If you can compile the source: http://lame.sourceforge.net/ ) |
