Ricky Fobis <-> Daft Punk?

I was listening to Daft Punk - Aerodynamite and i noticed it's quite the same as the Sensation black anthem 'ricky fobis - no regular'.

Now i'm wondering if it's just a coincidence or who got the idea from who.

Actually you're wrong. Dariush Fattahi and Ricky Fobis are two different people. They do a lot of work together and are lablemates though.

Aerodynamite came out in 2001 and No Regular (name of the tune that was used for the sensation anthem) came out on the Disorder EP in 2003, so I guess Ricky Fobis was influenced by DP, although I haven't heard the DP song.

actually im right, if you look at the sleeve notes on all "ricky fobis" productions you will find dariush fattahi and d. benvegnu. the same for igor s productions / remixes.

and yeh i know they are both under the kadabra digital wizard label.

his name isnt ricky fobis though. its d whateverthefuck. and he has done production work with dariush and vice a versa o nthe projects i have mentioned. so in essance, im not wrong, but then your not wrong. oh well.

Posted by Ste on Mar-31-2004 19:22:

looing at the website you posted, there is a lot of confusiong about who is who, dj igor s? nobody of that name is acredted to his productions. neither ricky robis, but there are different names to their tracks. perhaps they dont even make their tunes like with dj energy and tatana.

Now I'm really freaking confused, because I looked at the profile on Igor S, and he is a completely different person than either Dariush or Ricky Fobis. He looks comepletely different than both of them (www.igorsdj.com). But it doesn't say what his real name is.
Maybe he is D. Benvegnu?? And if not, then why aren't any of them credited on the damn sleeve notes.

barrrrrrgh

Aerodynamic itself sounds kind of like one of those classic Van Halen solos or something I like it. And the big bells -- oh, the whole video is grand... watched that awhile back, if you like dance music and anime it has both
