Rock & Electronic Music

Hello everyone,
I was jsut wondering, there so many great rock songs out there and so many great DJs out there as well. Some of them have come together to create amazing tunes; like Tiesto's remix for Radiohead's Street Spirit.
I was wondering if you know any other remixes like this one? I know there is one for The Beastie BOy's Fight for your right.

Good question, I'd like to see more rock remixes like this. There are some cover versions by new singers that aren't technically remixes of old pop/rock/disco songs... Adam Freeland remixed "I Smell Teen Spirit" by Nirvana but it's in more of a Breaks format. There are some names that elude me right now.

There is another Radiohead remix by Hybrid, "Everything In Its Right Place"... although I'm not sure you'd call the original song "rock" -- Radiohead are quite versatile. Oh rumor has it Hybrid (famed for their unique brand of "breaktrance" LOL) will be putting out another remix compilation album in the near future, so count on more goodies to be there.

Didn't Mixmag or another mag recently list a list of rock songs that had been remixed? I'm suspecting though, that a lot of the bigger names are bootlegs and mashups and white labels and whatnot.

Yea, that's right i've heard the smell like a teen spirit at Ultra 6 this year, but i never found out who it was from. thx
and well, i'll take a look on mixmag; im sure there has to be some source of the article online.

As long as they don't try to make any club mixes of Hendrix, I don't really care. There is a splice between Hard Rock/Metal and Trance in genres. Most don't mix, but like both.

slide mix of seven nation army is better imo
adam freeland mix is just confusing
