Invisible Grin Goa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, i am pretty new to Techno and electronic music as a whole. And i was wondering what other GOA DJs and producers are out there. The only ones i know are infected mushroom, absolum and astral projection.

What I did, was look at allmusic.com for related artists... it's not 100% accurate but it's pretty good, after I did a search for Astral Projection for example. Oh, there's also Hallucinogen -- another big name. You might want to look into some compilation albums these artists are featured on, and that will lead you to other artists you like -- or check out their DJ sets and setlistings... one thing will lead you to another! Enjoy the ride!

Get stuff from Man With No Name, he's quality.

Couldn't agree more with Zitty about Astrix. He is the man. Grab his album, Eye to Eye. I've used that album alone to convert many of my friends to the psy camp. For more recent good psy, check out Suria's album called Logical Evolution and Wrecked Machines - Blink. Most recently I have discovered the album by D-Tek called Earth Technologies. Some goa illness there as well my friend. The thing about goa or psy is there is just sooooo much of it out there. Tons of new stuff coming out constantly. Watch the new releases sections of www.psyshop.com and www.saikosounds.com for the lowdown on the latest psy treats.

Have to butt in here, Astrix NEEDS new sounds to his tracks, although his latest track "Evox" with Dimitri has taken that into consideration, it sounds refreshingly different. Hope he keeps this up. Suria has a few good tracks on his new album but mostly it's all the same israeli full-on rant that I've heard so many times, and over a full album it gets boring fast.

For various blends of psychedelic experiences, try these artists:

Vibrasphere
Orion
K.U.R.O
Rinkadink
Haltya
Puoskari
Alien Project
Deedrah
Talamasca
Prometheus
anything by Simon Posford
Blowfish
OTT
Electric Universe
Bamboo Forest
Texas Fagg*tt

Go for Puoskari and Haltya right away, they have come up with some of the most creative and refreshing music psy in this age has seen for quite some time. And stay away from the likes of the new Etnica releases and Aphid Moon, it's some of the worst boring minimal drivel you'll ever hear.

Texas ******t, YES! Also, I heard an etnica live mix and it was actually very good...though their recent releases have been kind of ass. :/ Also, rastaliens, reefer decree, max, psychotic micro, Ticon are all good as well.
