Saw him last year, it was a case of > !!!!!

Looking forward to Scott Bond

Scott Bond was really disappointing when he was last here (Gatecrasher tour in May 2002).

Would be interested to see him again, but only if tickets are cheap

I couldnt agree more Webby! He was a rude arrogant fuck that refused to even acknowledge the crowds existance!!

That lineup doesnt do a thing for me at all...... i'll save for rennaisance winter ball and gk!

Rude and arrogant?

What did he do? [besides not acknowledging the crowd]

Posted by lethal on Apr-02-2004 02:13:

winterball is June 12 - james zabiela, infusion (live), sneaky sound system plus more....

groovy: in 2 hours behind the decks he looked at the crowd ONCE and that was cause someone he knew popped up directly in front of the decks and Scott gave the guy his backstage pass..... apart from that one instance he didnt look at the crowd, he refused to shake peoples hands (even when not mixing), and was just a basic wanker... Was VERY unimpressed by his little performance.......mario piu made up for it though!

Winterball looks interesting though

probably a stupid question, but anywayz, when is Slinky on this year ? i've never actually been to one, and possibly thinking of going but depends really what the lineup is like as compared with other events throughout the year. if anyone can give me some info great !

Posted by webmeister on Apr-02-2004 05:57:

From memory, Slinky usually tour around the June long weekend period, it's quite often clashing with the Renaissance event...

Posted by JulesPLees on Apr-02-2004 05:59:

thats wierd, doesnt future run both of em?

Posted by SoupaFlys on Apr-02-2004 07:23:

can't say that line up really jumps out at me either... but then again it might just be my screen.

Posted by G`Dave on Apr-02-2004 09:59:

Oh what!?!?!?! I was really looking foward to Slinky.. but now you've just killed it for me.

This winter ball looks sweet though and if by gk you mean godskitcken.. OMG WHEN?

and yer.. I thought Slinky and Renaissance were both future entertainment I dunno if Renaissance was on last year.. or what time but I'm pretty sure Slinky was the 16th of June through to the 17th.

Posted by webmeister on Apr-03-2004 04:13:

I think I might've been slightly confused .. last year Slinky and Renaissance were both on the June long weekend, though I think they were on different nights....

In sydney they are run as two seperate events instead of just the one like in melbourne

Posted by JulesPLees on Apr-20-2004 07:08:

Add half the 5am roster to the lineup PLees :toofless:

Posted by feelinveryweird on Apr-20-2004 11:55:

pretty weak lineup, will probably give it a miss

wouldn't mind seeing scott bond again tho, i did enjoy his set at gatecrasher a couple of years ago. don't remember him being like that (i was probably too out of it, big weekend that one with pvd @ home the night before)

renaissance on the other hand, what a night that will be!!

last year they were on the same night if i recall correctly.

in melb slinky and renaissance are different rooms at the same event.

if only they did that in syd

yeh lineup lookin ghey atm.

Posted by Sid on Apr-20-2004 13:09:

Renaissance is going to be huge! anyone who saw James Zabiela last year, will understand what all the hype is about.

Posted by GruVer on Apr-20-2004 21:12:

FYI

There is RENAISSANCE THERAPY @ Room on May 15th with Dave Seaman and Phil K, then the Queens Bday Weekend, SLINKY and RENAISSANCE are on but at separate venues this year, with RENAISSANCE being held @ Room with James Zabeila and Infusion.

Posted by christos on Apr-21-2004 01:58:

well there are a few Melbourne locals who I know are confirmed

Steve Strangis
Julian Reynolds
Chris Pana
and Jules Plees

There you have it so far.... Gonna be fun!

Posted by Ghostface on Apr-21-2004 02:01:

Well done guys! good to see the support for 5am at the big events.
