What... do you think these videos aren't posted constantly?

Just one of many reasons to fear for the future of the human race...

Posted by NYCTrancefan on Apr-02-2004 12:04:

It is an absolutely disgusting clip, albeit the sad reality in Iraq. My feeling though is that once someone is dead leave it at that no need to resort to barbaric actions afterwards on the bodies. How can anyone get a joy out of dragging and hanging dead bodies is out of my realm of understanding of the human psyche.

Put into historical perspective - thousands of years of public executions, torture, the Holocaust, etc - this is really rather mild.

Still, it's quite disturbing. I'd say some of those people need to get a hobby... or maybe just a brain.

I guess its just the expression of human indignance at its best indeed. Those people who took part in the act must have slept real good afterwards and then what, they wake up the next day and feel better about themselves, I wonder.

there is a great documentary on bloodlust, i cannot remember the name atm though

i saw it a while ago, so there have probably been alot of discoveries in the area cognitive science. The deficiency of serotonin in the frontal cortex (which from my understanding is part of the evolved brain and responsible for rational thought) and superfluous endorphins, are factors. I think these people are momentarily ruled by the limbic system ("lizard brain") which is inherently instinctual and irrational. There is also a hardening of the arteries, most of these people who cannot controll there anger die of heart attack at a young age

I'm not sure if i got all of that right, if anyone wants to do some research and prove me wrong you're welcome, bit busy atm

me as israelien i can tell you that they didn't realy cared abit about doing it that the way the arabs nataions live. its the same that was in jenim when the arabs did same(and even worse) to israeli citiznes , hope the american soldiers with capture those basteredes who did it same as IDF captured the animals who did same to the israeli civilieze. thise is one many evidence that the arab nations ( ofcourse not all of them but most of them ) are seeking for war and killing, they are the nazis of the 21 century.

You have to ask yourselfs what prompted these people to do that. You can't just generalize like a blind republican or zionist that they did it because they are

amm i know both sides suffer but to be honest the one who started all this mess was arab countries that when ISRAEL was established in the UN the arabs opened war cause they wanted to kill us (what didn't happened cause they are bunch of dumb people who seek for blood).
Israeli Soldiers don't kill inocent people and if they do it happen only cuase they was in some kind of contact with the terorists.
but the arab suicide bombers kill civilinzes in purpose they come and blow theire self.

Somalia 1993
Palestinian Territories 2000
Iraq 2004

Such acts are a good illustration of the state a society is currently in.

blablabla

are you finished with your racist remarks?

I don't see anything special in here, an angry mob venting on dead bodies, which were occupation forces...

Not too long, I remember a guy in the US driving too fast and injurying people with his car, he was dragged out of his car and beaten to death by the most "civilized" citizens of the world.

...

its a guerilla warfare in Irak, expect nothing less.

The reason why this mess started is simply becuase Israel was formed.

Racist shit. Your soldiers who are occupying and terrorizing the Palestinians are the animals.

The clip is nothing to be surprised about. Like Ahlamalek said, that's life. It's normal under the circumstances. This is the dark and twisted side of human life that's perfectly natural. Come to terms with it already.

2 soldiers, 4 contractors... which work for the occupation forces. its same my friend. If you work for the army, either in the office or on the field, it doesn't matter at the end.

well i dunno...and if they were there to rebuild then I dont necessarily think its the same thing. perhaps it was...and if you are with soldiers, itd be hard to convince an angry mob otherwise|

I heard on the The News Hour with Jim Lehr that the attack was explciitly planned, organized, and carried out by a small group of people. Those who ambushed the convoy also had gas tanks at the ready to douse the bodies and cars and the crowd who gathered numbered between 30-40 people total. By most accounts, the people of Fallujah were horrified with the mutilations and the Sunni clerics of fallujah condmened the mutiliations (while not condemning the actual killings).

That makes sense....I saw some of the clips on the news and the "crowd" was not all that big. Nothing like the Mogadishu crowd.

It was also odd that a camera crew was so close to see the cars burning ealry on. The paint was not even scorched in the vid I saw and it does not take longfor that to happen.

It is a sad thing this attack, but I think that it could very well have been an orchestrated piece of propaganda.

That being said....I am drunk so I know not much....see COR posts for proof.

I wonder if these scenes will result in the american public calling for withdrawal? Like it happened in Somalia.
If the US withdraws after this, then we will most certainly see these kinds of acts everywhere that the US is not welcome.
