Soudforge Volume Editing

Sometimes when i record a set, some tracks will be louder than others, i'm assuming its because of how they were pressed on the vinyl. I was wondering if there was a way to even out the volume levels for the whole set as opposed to editing the volume small sections at a time (the method i use right now). Any information will be helpful. Thanks!

Use your mixer to adjust the volumes as you're recording it, going back after the fact can only do so much.

=/... u dont seem to understand. i do adjust it during mixing. its not like the volume is a huge noticeable difference. i just want to make it overall more even. i'm sure even the best dj's master their mixes when its released on a cd.

Like jdat said, use a limiter or compressor. I master mine with Cubase and Universal Audio 1176N compressor. If you need help with what settings to set on the compressor let me know.
