Blank + Jones - A Forest (Ron Van Den Bueken Remix)

I bought this track on vinyl a while ago and enjoyed it banging it out on my home system .. however i decided to spin it at the club im a resident at recently and .. .WOW! thats all i have to say.

This tune is absolutely mind blowing on a club system and has so much atmosphere to it on a bigger system. People were going nuts for it...

I do admit it sounds a lot like Timeless, but it just doesnt have that extra something that this does on a massive speaker system.

Opinions on this one? and has anyone tried spinning it in a club ?

Thumbs up

Beauty of a song. Haven't tried spinning it but I would imagine it would be a great peaktime chillout song.

It's an OK trancer but i prefer Exor Remix on the flip. Works better at least here where i live.

i prefer

The Cure - A Forest[Slide mix]

I luv this tune. Haven't heard it live, but I bet it was awsome. It reminds me of Ron Van Den Beuken - Timeless (Ron Van Den Beuken Remix).

yeah this tune is mint, but i got some crap pressing of it on liquid records, what other label is it on?

I love Blank & Jones and I love this tune, however one little thing is bothering me; it seems the song uses a similar beat to another song that I can't think of. And it's driving me mad.

The part I'm speaking about begins at 4:54 into the song, right after the breakdown. Does anyone have any idea of what song I might be thinking about?

aparently the Ron van den.... is only on liquid. any others are on gang go music.
i would prefer another not coloured version

I never liked this remix cause is kind of repetitive (though is pretty danceable), the Exor remix: a lot better.

Posted by oDrori on Apr-02-2004 16:06:

This tune is indeed quite repetitive, and could be more melodic. Also, it is VERY similar to Ron's remix of Timeless.

With that said, this tune kicks ass and is one of my favourite tracks of 2004... Sheer sound quality, very sharp, very energetic, would seriouslly be willing to suffer an entire party of vengaboys to hear this one at the end

It's a good tune, but the van den Beuken sound is getting a little annoying.

I prefer the Exor remix. That version is bad ass. I doubt that I will ever get tired of it.

4:54 in to A Forest (Ron van de Beuken & Exor Remix), cd 2, song 1 of monument, the beat is uncannily similar to an older track. Any idea?

You're thinking of Ron van den Beuken - Timeless

No, that's not the song I'm thinking about. I'll keep looking. Thanks anyways.

this vinyl indeed rockz , those 2 tunes and the transaparent vinyl thing,
but i will never understand how the beuken remix connected someway with the original version, sounds like more a remix for timeless..
