What version of your favorite songs do you prefer ??

stupid question .. but who cares .. want to know you guys and gals opinions..

I know everyone here has their favorite personal tracks and love to throw it down time and time again when you're either mixing or listening .. So here's the question ..

What version of your favorite songs do you prefer ??

-the short edited radio mix
-the original mix/edit
-the remix done by the original artist
-the remix done by a different artist
-all of the above

i usually prefer the original mix of the songs, because the word explains it all ... original .. there are plenty of songs i like where i prefer the original mix over the other mixes .. even if the mixes are great, i usually prefer the original ..

Really depends on the individual track, some tracks are not appealing to me as an original but the remix is amazing, or the other way around and the original is awesome and the mixes are just shite.

I never like the short radio edits or when some breakbeat DJ butchers up a trance song (I didn't say all...I said some). I usually prefer the original. The remix can suck or it can be damn good. A lot of times if it's done by the original artist it's good, but sometimes it takes being remixed by an artist that is notoriously known to remix the hell out of a song...someone that approaches the song with a whole new perspective.

Remixes are often much better than Original versions, but there are exceptions from the rule of course...

definitely depends on the tune...i can think of examples of each different possibility. however, i would say the ultimate tune would be an original that is sooo good that it doesn't need to be remixed...

It does depend on the song but out of them I'd have to pick the original. You know you'll like some of it even if your fave is a remix.
