Bush Quotes

Someone on another board was arguing Bush is unfairly portrayed as stupid because of his "lingistics". My rebutal was a copy of his college transcript and a few choice quotes that prove otherwise. Btw, does anyone here really regard him as smart?

(Where else would imports come from?)

(Subject verb agreement?)

Hey miss P nice to see you.

I can't imagine people would give the President speeches written using broken English. Unfortunately he can't read prewritten speeches all the time; occasionally he needs to actually speak for himself and this is where the quotes must originate.

We would assume the President has to be a little bit smart to become President. He doesn't have to know much, he just has to make decisions. All the smart people ("straphangers") around him tell him what's going on in the world and recommend what he should do about it... I do believe that he does not realize the repercussions of some of his decisions, but he has so many to make that he uses his best judgement. Shit or get off the pot...the buck stops here...etc. Here's an example: Let Rawanda commit genocide of its population or get involved....
