Smiley DJ Software mixing

With the fact that recently software has come so far in terms of giving us the ability to produce and mix excellent material in mind, Some of us have been looking for software programs that can mix(and do a good job of it). If you have an programs, in mind can you please share them with us here? I've gone to a few places without getting any straight answers on this. i figure you guys could easily answer this type of question. Thank you for your help.

Hey whats up. Thanks. 1)are there any ones better than Traktor by the way? 2)Hows the trance seen in TX? 3)Whats your style Trance,Techno, drum&bass, ect?

IMHO traktor is one of the best out there.

I used to prefer AtomixMP3, but they decided they'd write a new version of the software and rename it, and want everyone to pay for it again. that frustrated me. so I dont deal with them anymore.

AtomixMP3 is good for beginners and simple stuff - but traktor is ALOT more powerful. and MUCH cleaner.

there is also PCDJ. which I dont really dig.

and VTT. ultra simple but works well.

Mostly into the UK hard stuff myself... leaning towards nunrg and acid techno at the moment, especially the newer non-hoovered flavors of harddance.

the scene in tx? weak.

I [and anyone with half a brain] agree, Traktor is the best "virtual" DJ program out there today.

In reference to the trance scene in TX.... find the topic in this forum called The State of the Union. We have pretty much already talked about it there.

I mix with Traktor DJ Studio 2(too poor for TT's), and, as they said, it is a damn powerful program. Has 4 EQ's(mid, gain, high, low) on each TT, and includes various things such as a filter, loop setting thingy, direct scratching interface, MIDI ability, and saves your playlist and backs up your mixes incase you forget to save them. It also allows you to dub and cut your mixes once you're done recording, and then after you get it to how you like it, you can write the mix to .WAV and then convert it to mp3 or OGG with some other proggy. AND THERE ARE MORE FEATURES AS WELL! Such as an auto-synch, but we all know you don't need that, now do you?

Conclusion: Traktor DJ Studio 2(and higher): DA GOD DAMN BESTISH!
