how many non producers come here just to listen ?

Hi !

I wonder how many people come into this part of the tranceaddict.com forums without being a (n amateur ) producer themselfes, who just come to grab some music here.

Would be cool if you just could give us ( amateur )producers some feedback how many "fans" just come here to get some new stuff for their collection

Well, im not a producer but i am a dj who regularly is blessed with the opportunities to play with some really big dj talent, e.i. Oakenfold, Tiesto, Armin, Ferry, Kleinenberg...)

I like to play new and unavailable tracks and this is a great place for me to dig for a few Gems. Hopefully someday one of these guys will inquire about one of your tracks and i'll play a small part in blowing one of you guys up!

You're right Sunquest I should ve listened to you hehe.

Sorry bout the dum-ass post of mine, was a bit offtopic.

I hope there are many people listening these tracks, I mean if any dj wants to fill up his set with my or other TA's tracks, that's great IMO. This forum does it's work.

Me too! It made me wanna try it out for myself.

I give feedback and just to see if anyone creates an awesome track. I've saved a few tracks/remixes from MK-S, Bren-F, Haak, and so on. I'm kinda more interested in remixes though. Somebody has to do "Out of Darkness" by FIRE & ICE.... grrrr

Posted by Romain on Apr-09-2004 07:45:

i'm not a producer, but i like this forum a lot.
everytime i download a track i do my best to bring a comment; that's the only way we have to say thanks to the producer.

i tried producing for about one song and i gave it up.

no seriously i come here just to listen and if i like a song i load it and burn it on cd ( for personal and promotional use only).
there is some real talent here ( pjotr g, john o'callaghan, michael feihstel,... and many more) i'm allways looking for special songs that are fresh and this is the place to look for it

never be afraid to send your songs to the labels you never know!!

ITS CALLED "HOUSE"

Posted by jwear2004 on Apr-09-2004 17:35:

Well, I do come to get music, but I tend to try and give feedback usually. I am trying my hand at producing, but I don't think I qualify yet as even an "amateur producer" since I haven't really made a full song and I haven't posted anything up. Maybe in the future I'll manage to finish something. Sure makes me appreciate what you guys put into it, though, since for me producing's a bitch! It's pretty difficult, at least for me.

DISCO= gay ass men rubbing om each other dancing...

i dont think trance & disco will mix...

or then will called it TRAY music

Posted by elena on Apr-14-2004 02:11:

me. only thing that pains me is that i cant leave what you consider constructive feedback since im not familiar with terms and technical aspects of producing hence cant tell you how to improve.
i usually get the remixes of well known songs. if i like the style then i start dl productions from those remixers.

I registered because I love the site And perhaps for the few mp3s back then.

However, when my own music became more important to me, I started visiting these forums. There are times when I cannot come on the net that long for various reasons - if that's the case I try to download as many tracks as possible to listen to them later on and come and try to give a comment on them. I think it's just plain honest to give something back to the people also commenting and supporting your tracks.

I produce, and I come here to get inspiration from others!

I come here to try to find really nice tunes that other DJs won't be spinning. The folks here make me a better DJ by providing me with new sounds. Thanks!

[I download a fair amount and try to leave feedback for folks that haven't received much, but I'm not always good at that.]

I had gave up producing until I found these forums. Then I started again.
