How's Junkie XL live?

Have an opportunity to see JXL this Friday and was wondering from people who've seen him how he is. I like his productions but don't know much about him as a DJ, any insights?

Saw him last Saturday in Minneapolis, and he's on top of his game. Good mixing and impeccable tracklist, and quite a fun entertainer; he really knows how to read the crowd.

I'd rather like to see him live-acting. From the sets I've heard he's a pretty good dj. Judging by his productions, you should go see him in my opinion.

Fooookin Awesome!!! Seen him at Ultra and Creamfields Buenos Aires..Def best act in Creamfields, his productions are kick ass and probably the best sound engineering I have ever heard, his tracks sound extra nice and crisp...Def. not to miss he made shitty creamfields this year almost awesome(lots of other problems during Creamfields) anyways in other words go see hiM!!!

personally i think he's boring as hell!
but that's cause i've seen him 4 or 5 times in a year and he always pretty much spins the same shit in the same exact order. Gets quite boring after a while

i was going to ask the same question, since i plan to go aslso tomorow. But is it really a live dj set or some preset production crap, since they moved him to the stage and its only 2 hours

it's probably DJ set. Nothing sounds like he's actually playing live. Plus, you need more than one person for a real live-act with all (or most) elements played live.

His hi-tech mixer always looks cool, but the things you hear from it reveals that it's not a liveact.

YOU GUYS RULE.

I went. Just got home. WOW!! This guy is off the chain. Never seen such an energetic DJ before. It was cool before he played I had the chance to have a cigarette with him outside of the club. Really nice down to earth guy. Seemed pretty quiet until he got on stage and then boom.

The crowd was loving him too. Played so many choons like Breezer, Obssession, Beauty Never Fades, Red Pill Blue Pill, Somnabulist. And he ended the night with some sick remix of Fight for your right to Party by teh Beastie Boys. Place went insane.

Thank you guys for telling me to go. I went solo because my friends listen to turd music and I had a BLAST...all that's left to say is
