My New Setup!!!!

woot!!!!! i finally have a good setup going and thought i'd share it with you guys.

i almost bought myself a pair of TTX1s as i was getting them for $300 a piece brand new from guitar center....but i found these 3 month old techs for about the same price.....so i figured i couldn't go wrong!!!!

mixer, i know it's not a very good mixer, but how could i pass up on a deal like this, i bought it brand new for only $160...

my favorite headphones, HDJs-1000

my crappy little stereo reciver that i currently use to listen to all my tunes....

IMHO who cares what kind of speakers you use. Im still using my panasonic stereo for the past 4 years. As long as they work well for practicing and you can pull some strings to get a much better system for parties that's the way to go. (someday i will buy event tr8 monitors, and 2x 15" eon G2)

just an FYI,
bro, take off those little weights you have on the headshells, you don't need them, they only will cause the needles to munch on your vinyl and wear out your vinyl pretty quickly. If you need more tracking force on the needle, use the counterweight for that, if that's not enough, though I highly doubt it, then play around with tone arm height adjustment.

yeah, i know, i just had it on there for now cuz i had just got the setup together......i took them off, setup the height and the counterweights...locked everything in place and then started bangin' away!
