Hey peoples

I just got my new Pioneer EFX500 Effects Unit through the door today and im having a couple of problems connecting up.

My Numark DM3002x mixer has effects send and receive terminals in the form of phono (RCA) sockets so i assumed you would connect the output from the effects unit to the return socket in the mixer and .. input from the efx to the send like it states in the manual.

However im getting no level readings on the efx unit indicating theres no signal coming through. Im beginning to think there is a problem with my effects connectors on the back of my mixer .. .

Any help would be appreciated
