Info on trains from Antwerp to Amsterdam

I am coming over for Qontact/Mayday/antwerp is burning and i was hoping to get some travel info from you guys. A) how long and how much is the train from dortmund to antwerp and B) how much is the train from antwerp to amsterdam (I know its about 2 hours and 10 minutes travel time)

any info will be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the quick response. I checked that site before which is how I knew about the 2:10 minute train, but it doesnt seem to show prices. do you know how much the train is and also how far the festival is from the train station andalso, which stop is closest (antwerp central)?

so your trip is Dortmund -> Antwerp and then Antwerp -> Amsterdam?

i'm sorry to say i haven't found the price for your trip to Antwerp.

as for your trip to Amsterdam, that should cost you round about �35. you'll have to ask for a "Benelux weekend ticket", as you'll be travelling at a lower price then.

the nearest station in Antwerp is indeed the Central station.
there's a tram stop right in front of the station. just ask for "Sportpaleis" or "Antwerp is Burning" there and they will point you out which tram you need to get to the festival. it's about 10 minutes, the tram stops right next to the Sportpaleis.

yeah, doing that now actually. Some of my belgian friends I met at Trance Energy will be @ Qontact so we will plan something. Hopefully there will be more of you guys at AIB

Hiya Mate. I arrive in Amsyterdam around 8:00 on thursday the 29th. My friends arrive later that day from the uk/belgium. I think I meet-up in the afternoon perhaps in the rembrandtplein for drinks would be cool. Kinda hard to do a meet-up at Qontact with 20,000 people running around. Shouldn't be too hard to find people. We have pleny of time to set it up and I'm sure we can get a nice group together. Whoever wants to meet up feel free to PM me
