Souvenir De Chine or Barber's Adagio (Corsten remix)???

Aight, which do you guys think is an overall better track??

We all know and love Adagio for Strings, and Souvenir De Chine is very similar, but do you think it'll make a bigger impact than Adagio? Why not? Go nuts...

Dj Slain votes for Souvenir De Chine. Both tunes have a very complex arrangment of the tones, but i think that Barber's Adagio for Strings has a much more sadder atmosphere (not to mention it comes from the movie Platoon!). Souvenir tends to have a much more emotional/uplifting arrangement, and that's what i love.

I think that Souvenir also has a sad atmosphere though! They're both too similar emotionally, i still don't know which one to choose! I think Adagio has the better buildup, but Souvenir keeps you interested in the melody for longer because of it's complexity! I'll wait to hear some other peoples comments, maybe then It'll help me make a decision!

i love souvenir de chine and i think its have lots of emotion but "BARBERS ADAGIO FOR STRINGS" is one of my all time favorite tracks...

i dunno if you can compare them. they both take trance to a new level. they have 2 different kinds of energy in each of the songs. i think they both kick ass. why choose 1 when you can have both

Exactly.. you can't compare superb tunes which you know only a couple days.. with amazing tunes you'll know for a longer period...

I voted Barbers adagio for strings, the reason been that this tune has been out for a while now, and I still love it as it just came out, its just a masterpieace, souvenir de chine too, its sooo awesome, but its newer, we have to wait and see what happens with this tune in the future, will it survive to the level of barbers !?! know what I mean ?

Souvenir de Chine is definetely an awesome song but Adagio for Strings hit me alot harder the first time I heard it. I'll have to go for Adagio. The buildup is unreal! Ferry's the man!!

ba4s is always going to be one of the best trance anthems ever, sdc wont reach that status in my opinion. and ba4s is much more like the original than sdc.

I think Adagio For Strings is the better of these two. It's a classic.
Does anyone know that Souvenir De China bases on an old synthesizer classic also called Souvenir De China written & produced by Jean Michel Jarre. Fire & Ice uses some samples (like camera clicks) from the original track and that's how it reminded me of the original.
