Thumbs up

I love the melody and the base line is perfect for my taste. The lead synth a bit too loud thou and try to make it's sound a bit deeper if you can.

Posted by Sunquest on Apr-09-2004 22:24:

first kick in the entrance i think too loud, something with equalizing, not a problem to fix

melody is good, very original, now the hard part

ur kick and bass are too weak, im sure u can fix that up, as for the main synth very good, just one suggestion, add a reverb maybe? because it sounds too computery, maybe a reverbb will help it so try it out

good track, keep us updated

Listening,

I love the pluck . I have to agree with the above, about the bass, it should be louder. some extra hints would be great as well. The synth isnt " deep " enough it has a metallic feeling init. I would look for another synth, but thats my taste .
Anyway, this is a pretty cool track, nice harmony, pads are mellow, me likes .

yo alex

nice the part before you intrdouce the base

base it self need more low imo, and maybe lower the cutoff the filter a bit
same with the kick, think the whole mix need a bit low frequencies, kick not pounding.

nice melodies indeed very relaxing feel in it

nice patch for the pads.

main melody is ok

1 more thing i think you need to pann a bit more in the perc and synths , perc seeming to be a bit coverd, not to much though, maybe a volume boost mite help

thats all

The bass would be lush, if only it were brought out into the mix more. The bottom end really needs more emphasis to make impact. The patches youve programmed for the pads and melody sound really nice, but tend to drown out the rest of the mix too much, struggling to hear the percline at all. Breakbeat during the breakdown a very nice touch.

Man this took a while to DL:

Some thing is way too reverbed at the beggining, totally drowns the bass. Clap and open HH are OK but very Fruityish ... try to modify them a bit.

Bassline is smooth, I'd give it a moer subtle entrance.

I think the track is feels too long till it reaches the break...

Buildup is fine but needs moer atmosphere IMO ... let us know that you're gonna drop the bomb

Hmmm, melody isn't that exciting for my taste but it's alright, I think there is way too much treble when the synths get combined.

Overally I'd say the big cons are the treble and the length of the tune... Worth working on though.
