Tiesto feat JXL - Obsession (Adam's & Frode's Red-Eye'd Stonecold Remix)

Hallllooo

alright...we made this track after a long long session (picture ) after i picked Frode up from the ditch beside a dirty sidewalk. He lay around there with a Cachaca 51 bottle (40% alc) and full of green joy we went straight into the studio just to make this half-decent track for you guys

That dreamy pad in the beginning sounds as if it's clipping...and I find that the snare ends up taking the forefront of the track, at least in the first half. Liking the bass though. Lead melody also sounds as if it's clipping. The part where you gate the leading melody - I think it works best as a background sound, it's got that subliminal aspect. So what I'm saying is I didn't like it when you brought it into the forefront.

This remix has a lot of potential to be so much more.

I like it! Only that first part, when you can hear a sample from the original track (Percussions). They can a bit louder. Also the synths in the middle (also from the original track) can a bit louder. For the rest it's a very good track.

I don't agree, ... I like the volume that it is right now, I think that if you put it louder it would overrule the beat!

I like this dirty, bassy, progressive breaks interpretation of the song a lot. I love how the melody is hinted at, being played amongst layers of sound... very nice work!

tight.. i really wish u would let us have the 192 rip.. lol.. its great.. definately up there with the original as the remixes didnt do much for me.. awesome percs and beats.. loved what u did with the melody.. added a sort of bounce to it.. iono.. hard to explain..

hey i like the remix but there was one thing that bugged me and that is the kick, it seems a bit too weak and powerless. also the snare it sounds a bit to plain the way it delays. other than that i like it just fine good work!

So you guys think you can get this track released? It is certainly good enough quality that it deserves to be on vinyl.

I know it's been a while but any chance someone still has this?

Heard it mixed on GDJB from 2004-05-03.

Tried searching on the Internet archive but they don't have that file saved...
