Is this a good deal?

Ok so here it is i could purchase two Gemini xl500IIs to learn how to mix on a such for 150usd, they are extremly lightly usedplike once or twic] and if i want to continue spinning i could sell these and save for techs or i could sell these if i dont want to spin anymore for more money possiably because on Ebay these go for used 150 a peice

I would say go for it, it is a very good price and these decks will do exactly the same as most in a much higher price range. Sure the torque isn't great, but for spinning trance you really dont need all that much.

If you like it dj'ing you can keen on saving while you run these gemini's into the ground, if not you havent lost much. Personally i think they would be ideal to learn on, and you'll find when/if you upgrade you'll improve. The only problem being you might find it a bit dissheartening learning on worse decks as you'll find yourself touching the platter more to keep the pitch and to compensate for the slower start the split second after you release the record, but its all good practise.

Besides Gemini products have never failed me (i have the PT-2100's).
