Ooh nice, I always liked Summer Times...did you ever send any of these to labels or not?

Posted by Zombie0729 on Apr-12-2004 08:45:

think i'm going to give Summer Times a try this weekend. See how the crowd reacts. I kinda wish the breakdown wasn't as long but i'll figure something out. cheers mate, i'll let you know how it goes.

Posted by Sunquest on Apr-12-2004 11:29:

i never sent it out, but these days theyre very picky, im sure these wouldnt get signed...

Posted by Connector on Apr-12-2004 13:35:

Summer Times was a really sweet track. No complaining there =) Good job! You should send it out to some labels... you never know!

May i enquire as to why u are sharing tunes hosted on MY web sites artists space when i do not recognise you one bit?

Im all for people using our artists space so long as they share said tunes WITH my website. But when u do not use my site one little bit and yet rinse our bandwidth we will be forced to shut your account!

Its not much to ask to share the tunes u use on our space with the actual site ure using to host them? I mean we dont even care if you hardly post on there!!

Please reply to this and give me reasons as to why u dont use our site (or if u do, what your user name is and why ive not seen you about on there) and how you plan to correct it? Else your tunes wont work from there for much longer!

Oh, I'm getting mad. Stars above full version

So cool. Is it ok to play this on my next party?

Posted by Ian Vanderson on Apr-13-2004 11:40:

Just heard "summer times" for the first time.

I'll really never understand, why you've never sent your tracks to any labels. Are ya waitin' for an "Ian Venderson NU-NRGized remix" of them?

lol, no nrgized remix
just was a little lazy...
and ya u can play it in ur mixes

Posted by Ian Vanderson on Apr-15-2004 11:47:

Don't ya like NU-NRG?

I've used the notes of "stars above" yet for a remix in NU-NRG-style.

I'll show it to you, if I've stretched it to a length more than 2 minutes.

Love them all mate

Inner Flames:
Absolutely love the introduction, up until the little break that is. After that, I was waiting for everything to slammed in, rather than be layered up as it turned out to be. The tune seemed to flash by though, before I knew it, it was over.

Stars Above:
My favourite of the two. Very driving bottom end. Nice punchy kick and rumbling bass line. However, youve got the ding type pattern going on in the top end of the frequencies (good name for the tune with this going on btw ) that I feel would really grate on your ears if this was played over a massive rig. If youve got the freq space, I think it would be better pitched down ever so slightly.

Both being put in my Amateur Productions Folder for later listening.

these tracks are incredibly awesome, uplifting melodic.. the whole atmosphere is beautiful. Great percussion on both, kick and sub work so nice together.

Stars Above is my favorite of the two has great flow.. these are definately label quality. inner flames is very interesting cool bassline the melody has a nice progression. hats stand out a bit to much but u didnt ask for changes so... these are both extremely high quality and i recommend u send your next track into a label without releasing the full version. Awesome stuff man

Posted by jwear2004 on Apr-28-2004 02:15:

More full tracks, more full tracks, more, more . As you can tell, I really like them. Especially Stars Above - I love the part where the break occurs at around 2:45-3:35.

Posted by Electronicapo1 on Apr-28-2004 03:09:

Stars Above is my favorite tune of the two I've heard, but I'd like to give this Summmer Times everyones raving about a listen. Really cool uplifting stuff, I think this is definatly label quality. For some reason the bassline in Starts above hits me the most, it just sounds right. Nice job, good luck.
